Transcending Through Art Therapy

Dates: 7/2/24 • Time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Host: San Mateo Pride
Description: An 8 week expressive arts therapy group for gender expansive youth, ages 14-19, who identify as Transgender, Nonbinary, Gender Fluid, Gender Non-conforming, Gender Creative and Questioning teens. All skill levels welcome, no prior experience required. Art supplies will be provided.

Cost: This group costs $30/session but there are spots available for sliding scale fee.

10th Annual Chalk Full of Fun

Tessellations with Ally Kraus

Dates: 7/14/24 • Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Host: Madrone Arts
Description: This class is an introduction to tessellation surface design (tiling that has a repeated pattern). Using simple materials (acrylic blocks and craft foam), you'll create small "tile" or motif stamps and explore the infinite ways you can use them as prototypes for your own continuous designs. Working with paper and ink pads you will use these stamps to print a set of beautiful hand-made greeting cards.

Rock the Dock Concert
