In July 2016 the City of San Mateo removed protective fencing to unveil the newly renovated playground at popular Beresford Park.
The playground includes adventure-themed towers for climbing, slides, nets, swings and more. The County of San Mateo contributed nearly $67,000 to the project to ensure that all residents have access to outdoor recreation. The County is also funding parks projects in Belmont and Foster City.
