County Executive’s Office

I am excited to be part of the Steering Committee because I believe all students deserve a high-quality education, regardless of background or circumstance.  It is a fundamental right that should be extended to all children, so the San Mateo County Office of Education is committed to doing whatever it can to ensure that immigrant children are receiving the educational opportunities they deserve.  In addition, I believe that in working together as a collaborative we will be able to create new, creative opportunities, supports and experiences for immigrant children and families.
