Ann believes that access to a wide range of educational opportunities should be available to all members of our community. She is actively involved in education-focused organizations, currently serving as Business Development Advisor to start-up Raiizz, Inc. and president of the San Mateo Public Library Foundation Board of Directors. Ann has also served in leadership positions in the arts education sector, including as a trustee of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and president of the San Francisco Opera Guild. She is an attorney, practicing for twenty-three years as a litigator and most recently, in the role of General Counsel to a publicly traded Silicon Valley corporation. She is an ardent Cal Bears fan and was raised in San Mateo County.
