As July 4th approaches, please remember that fireworks are prohibited in all San Mateo County Parks. Fines can reach $1,000.
Some trails remain closed due to damage from winter storms. Toyon Campground are closed and without water. Werder Playground is closed for construction.
While the red flag warning is in effect through July 4, no campfires or use of barbecues will be allowed in Memorial, Sam McDonald, or Pescadero Creek Parks.
Due to high fire danger, visitor campfire and bbq use is limited in Huddart & Wunderich Parks until July 5.
On Thursday, July 4 the Flood Park pump track will close at 6 p.m. as we allocate staff to other parks with high fire risks.

Redwood City – San Mateo County supervisors – concerned over the pervasiveness of domestic violence – today advanced an initiative that will send survivor advocates along with police to certain 911 calls.
Ongoing closures at Coyote Point Recreation Area include the Beach Center, trails, and a restroom in the Eucalyptus area of the park.
