The County of San Mateo has replaced a local call center number with a new service that will more than double the hours residents can get information about the coronavirus known as COVID-19 – 2-1-1.

The County of San Mateo today announced the opening of a public call center for residents with non-medical questions about COVID-19.

The County of San Mateo today activated its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to support the local County Health response to the novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19.

The San Mateo County Flood and Sea Level Rise Resiliency District has its first CEO in Len Materman.   The brand new Flood and Sea Level Rise Resiliency District launched on Jan. 1. It is a collaboration of 20 cities and the county to develop coordinated plans to address current and future coastal erosion, sea level rise and flooding, and to improve regional stormwater infrastructure.
