April 13, 2020 - Health Officer Extends School Operations Modification Order

Redwood City – San Mateo County Health Officer Dr. Scott Morrow has revised his order to extend school closures and student dismissals from regular school attendance through the end of the 2019-20 academic year. There are no substantive changes to the order other than the extension. Previous school operations modification orders were set to expire on April 3 and May 1, 2020. The new order supersedes the previous orders and is intended, in conjunction with other measures, to slow the spread of COVID-19 to the maximum extent possible.
