Redwood City — The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors today awarded three cities a total of $2.4 million to help end homelessness.
Park passes are now available to checkout for free from San Mateo County Libraries thanks to a partnership between libraries and the San Mateo County Parks Foundation focused on increasing access to local parks.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that during their regular public meeting on December 13, 2022, at 9:00 am, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors will consider the annual report for the fiscal year 2021-22 for the Mid-Coast Park and Recreation Development Fees Trust Fund, findings with respect to the portion of the Trust Fund remaining unexpended, and the annual fee adjustment. Redwood City – The County of San Mateo and its partners are holding a gun buyback on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022. The event will be held at 1000 Skyway Road in San Carlos from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants must transport firearms unloaded in a vehicle trunk or, for trucks and vans, in a locked container.
