Bicycle Sunday, the weekly event that allows for non-motorized use of Cañada Road along Crystal Springs Regional Trail, will be canceled during holiday weekends to meet increased staffing needs at other parks in the area.
A portion of the San Bruno Mountain Park's Bog Trail is closed until further notice due to a large wasp nest on the trail.
The Flood Park Pump Track, which has remained open while renovations are made at Flood Park, will now close early at 5:00 P.M.
South San Francisco – Visitors to the North County Wellness Center will be greeted in a bright, daylit reception area with natural timber walls and windows that look out to a garden. They will be directed down wide hallways to a health clinic, a dental suite and private areas where they can learn about and apply for health insurance, nutrition assistance and additional social services.

Redwood City – The largest affordable housing project in San Mateo County’s history received key financial support today from the Board of Supervisors. By a unanimous vote, supervisors approved a $14 million loan that will spur construction at Midway Village, located near the Cow Palace in Daly City’s Bayshore neighborhood.
Children, teens, and young adults (under age 21) enrolled in Medi-Cal qualify for free services and support to stay or get healthy. This includes check-ups, shots, health screenings, and treatment for physical, mental, and dental health problems.
