County Breaks Ground on North County Wellness Center, Bringing Health and Social Services Closer to Residents

South San Francisco – Visitors to the North County Wellness Center will be greeted in a bright, daylit reception area with natural timber walls and windows that look out to a garden. They will be directed down wide hallways to a health clinic, a dental suite and private areas where they can learn about and apply for health insurance, nutrition assistance and additional social services.

Crystal Springs Regional Trail Closures

Closure of Sawyer Camp Segment, September 24–26 for SFPUC tree work. The northern portion of the Sawyer Camp segment will be closed through October 2024.

Flood Park Pump Track Closing Time is now 6pm

The Flood Park Pump Track, which has remained open while renovations are made at Flood Park, will now close early at 6:00 P.M.

Bicycle Sunday Canceled, Sep 1

Bicycle Sunday, the weekly event that allows for non-motorized use of Cañada Road along Crystal Springs Regional Trail, will be canceled during holiday weekends to meet increased staffing needs at other parks in the area.

Huddart Park Closures

Early park closure for nightwork on Kings Mountain Road extended. Some trails remain closed due to damage from winter storms. Toyon Campground are closed and without water. Werder Playground is closed for construction.

Wunderlich Park Trail Closures

Closures on Alambique & Skyline Trails, Weekdays Sep 16 – Oct 11 for SLAC vegetation maintenance.

Memorial Park RV Dump Station Closed

The RV Dump Station at Memorial Park is currently closed. The dump station is expected to be out of operation through Friday, August 30.

Coyote Point Recreation Area Closures

Ongoing closures at Coyote Point Recreation Area include the Beach Center, trails, and a restroom in the Eucalyptus area of the park.

Sam McDonald Park Trail Closures

On September 16, work begins on a project to enhance public safety by maintaining already existing fuel breaks and shaded fuel breaks along a 4.3-mile network of fire roads in Sam McDonald Park. Trails will be closed in two areas of the park on weekdays.
