PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR ADULT CASES 

Fines/Fees/Victim Restitution ordered payable through San Mateo County (SMC) Probation (during active probation supervision)

Payment Options 

  • Cash: You can make cash payments in person at any SMC Probation office. We only accept exact cash for payments, and do not accept cash payments through the mail. 
  • Check/Money Order:  You can make payments by check or money order at any SMC Probation Office. Payments by check or money order can also be mailed  to the following address:

Checks should be made payable to “San Mateo County Probation”.  Your account number should be clearly written on your check or money order.

For questions regarding victim restitution, fine/fee balances, and/or amount(s) owing please e-mail PROB_Collections@smcgov.org.  

Please note: If you are no longer on active supervised probation, all payments must be made through the San Mateo Superior Court.  


Victim Restitution (after termination of active probation supervision), All Other Adult Fines/Fees 

The San Mateo Superior Court has authorized Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP (LGBS, LLP) to collect monies on cases where payment was ordered payable through San Mateo Superior Court.


Payment Options 

  • Credit/Debit Card: You can pay online using credit/debit card at: www.lgbswebpayments.com. You will need to enter your court case number in order to make payment. 
  • Check/Money Order: Payments by check or money order should be mailed to the following address:

Checks should be made payable to: LGBS. The case number and your phone number should be clearly written on the check or money order

Victim Restitution on court probation cases 
Victim restitution related to court probation cases is payable to the San Mateo Superior Court. 

Payment Options 

  • Credit/Debit Card: If you are not on a payment plan and want to pay victim restitution and other fines in full, you can pay online with a credit/debit card at the secure portal on the court’s public website: https://odyportal-ext.sanmateocourt.org/Portal-External/Home/Dashboard/17
  • Check/Money Order: Payments by check or money order should be mailed to the following address:
