PAYMENTS FOR ADULT AND JUVENILE CASES
The San Mateo County Probation Department (Probation) is responsible for the collection of payments for victim restitution and fines/fees that have been ordered payable through Probation on cases when a client is under active supervision.
- Payments for adult and juvenile cases can only be made directly to the department.
- Juvenile Traffic case fines/fees are collected by Probation’s Juvenile Traffic Unit.
- Upon termination of supervision, the San Mateo Superior Court will assume collection of any outstanding payments for adult and juvenile cases.
Please note: Victim restitution and fines/fees that have been ordered payable through the San Mateo Superior Court can only be made directly to San Mateo Superior Court.
