About the Project
Plan and execute a coordinated county-wide flood emergency preparedness and response program, in collaboration with the Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services. Project includes public outreach and training, upgrade and expansion of the flood warning system, and the creation of updated and new planning documents that address site-specific and county-wide flood hazards. With funding by the Statewide Flood Emergency Response Grant program, we currently plan to upgrade and reinstitute six stream gauges, as well as a series of staff gauges, and webcam.
