Kevin joined the Department of Public Works in 2023 as the Deputy Director of Administrative Services. The Administrative Services Division performs the accounting, budgeting, clerical, human resources, payroll, and IT functions for the department.
Kevin began his public service career in 2006 as an engineering intern in the Community Development Department of the City of Redwood City, then continued to serve as a civil engineer with the City of Redwood City, Town of Hillsborough, and most recently as the City Engineer for the City of Daly City. He is a licensed civil engineer with a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley and an MS in Civil Engineering from San Jose State. Most recently he completed a Master’s in Public Administration with CSU San Bernardino.
At work he strives to provide learning opportunities to staff and enjoys taking on new challenges. Kevin is passionate about reading and will often have a book with him at lunch. He enjoys learning new things and has been studying the Italian language since 2018.
