Kevin has owned several businesses including a professional beauty supply for hairdressers (Belmont), and a National yellow page company for the queer community (Phoenix). Kevin currently owns Pink Spots, a local resource guide for the LGBTQ+ community.

He is a founding member of the Peninsula Equality Network (PEN) in San Mateo County, which operated from 2008-2015, bringing a network of LGBTQ+ business owners together for support and social functions. He worked for the Democratic National Committee for the presidential campaigns of Bill Clinton and Al Gore, mostly in a fundraising capacity. He has also volunteered his time for a variety of causes including Meals on Wheels, and youth homelessness.

Kevin is passionate about helping others and ensuring the fair and equitable treatment of all individuals, especially those who cannot fight for themselves. Kevin is a strong advocate for ending hunger and homelessness, health care for all, and reparations for those communities whose dreams were stolen.

Born in Cleveland, raised in San Diego, Kevin moved to the SF Bay area in 2005, and now lives in San Bruno with his partner of 15 years, Evaristo.
