Live Oak Nature Trail

At Wunderlich Park
Saturday, May 18, 2024 - 9:00am–11:00am

Please meet us at Wunderlich Park between 9:00 and 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 18 for our 2024 Sudden Oak Death BioBlitz.

This is a family-friendly activity and is suited for groups of 2-4 people that are willing to walk around a San Mateo County Park. Individuals are welcome to participate! Volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian. Youth under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Volunteers must watch this 15 minute training video prior to Saturday: SOD Blitz Project: How to Survey – UC BERKELEY FOREST PATHOLOGY AND MYCOLOGY LAB

We will then disperse to gather leaves and data as teams at Wunderlich, Junipero Serra, Memorial, or Sam McDonald County Parks in a self-guided activity.

Data packs must then be returned to Woodside Town Hall within 24 hours.

Register on our Eventbrite page and please sign up your "team" as one reservation, allowing others to use tickets for their team.
